By signing a comptech repair service invoice you agree to the following terms and conditions

1.1 CompTech Repair, LLC will only perform and provide computer services, repairs, and upgrades as requested by the customer. CompTech Repair, LLC will provide honest, reasonable, and considerate services with a 30 day guarantee on all labor provided.

(See para 6.1 and 6.2 below)

1.2 CompTech Repair, LLC will do our very best to provide the highest quality of service and support to all our customers but specific results cannot always be guaranteed.

1.3 Computer service/repairs are provided as a service. There may be circumstances under which your computer can not be repaired. It will have to be rebuilt or upgraded. (Examples: Age of PC, repair/replacement parts obsolete, memory chips, motherboards, etc.)

1.4 The length of time required to service/repair your computer cannot always be predicted. (See para 2.1 below)

1.5 You understand that in the process of working on your computer/computer equipment, there is a potential for data loss. You agree that you have made the necessary backups of your data so that, in the event of such loss, the data can be restored. CompTech Repair, LLC will not be responsible for data loss. (See para 4.4 and sect 8 below)

1.6 You authorize CompTech Repair, LLC technician(s) providing the service or repair to install anti-virus and any other necessary software on your computer to perform required services. All repair software will be deleted / uninstalled upon completion of the service unless otherwise stated in the service invoice.

2.1 Computer services/repairs are billed as stated on the service invoice provided. Charges will be calculated in one hour increments, and carry a minimum one hour charge.

2.2 An estimate of cost for work will be provided before performing computer services/repairs. Estimates are not guaranteed.

2.3 In the case that there is an unforeseen deviation, beyond the above estimated amount, every effort will be made to contact you and inform you of the situation and receive authorization to continue or stop at the estimate limit.

2.4 In the case that you cannot be reached, work will stop until contact is established. Once reached, your decision to continue or stop will be honored by CompTech Repair, LLC.


3.1 Full payment is due upon completion of maintenance, services, upgrades, or repairs. By signing any CompTech Repair, LLC service invoice you agree that the services provided have been fulfilled and completed in full. Furthermore you agree to pay CompTech Repair, LLC in the full amount listed on the service invoice.

3.2 Computer parts, hardware and/or software that need to be ordered or special ordered must be paid for in advance.

3.3 CompTech Repair, LLC accepts cash, and credit cards.

3.4 Payments payed using credit cards ensue a 4% + 0.15c handling fee.



4.1 Service(s) are provided in an effort to fix, upgrade, or otherwise repair the computer system(s) for which you request such service(s).

4.2 Your system will not be intentionally damaged. The primary goal is to fix your computer, not harm it.

4.3 In the case of accidental damage to hardware, software, data on your system or data loss caused by already existing problems in your system such as viruses, poorly configured software, or hardware problems/failures; You agree to hold CompTech Repair, LLC and any person(s) associated with CompTech Repair, LLC or involved in the work being done for you harmless from damages resulting from such problems.

4.4 It is your responsibility to back up your data. CompTech Repair, LLC will not be responsible for data loss.

5.1 Customer satisfaction is our utmost importance.

5.2 CompTech Repair, LLC strives for all computers having maintenance done or being repaired/upgraded by our technicians to be fixed right the first time every time and offers a 30 day labor guarantee from completion of service. CompTech Repair, LLC does not offer refunds for services performed. If any issue/issues arise pertaining to the services provided stated on the service invoice it is your responsibility to contact CompTech Repair, LLC within 30 days of the date listed on the service invoice for a warranty claim.

5.2b In the event issues arise pertaining to the services provided stated on the service invoice within the 30 day warranty period and you have contacted CompTech Repair, LLC for a warranty claim within the 30 day warranty period, CompTech Repair, LLC will provide the required services at no addition cost per our 30 day warranty policy (see Pg 4 para 6, 6.1, 6.2) CompTech Repair, LLC does not offer refunds on services provided only warranty claims.

5.3 All services will be conducted in a professional, reasonable and timely manner. Also, taking into consideration the circumstances and nature of the technical problems and parts that need to be ordered.

5.4 Free support will be provided for problems to be resolved from the service invoice, but not resolved.

6. REPAIRS & SERVICE Guarantee

6.1 All services and repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the completion / acceptance date on the Service Invoice.

6.2 If later found that the service or repair was incorrectly diagnosed by the technician. Then CompTech Repair, LLC will perform the repair/service free of any labor charge up to $150. New parts will be charged to the customer.


7.1 Basic diagnostics and repair estimates are free.

(See para 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 above)

7.2 Advanced diagnostics cover a full hardware diagnostics on all PC components.

Advanced diagnostics ensue an additional fee but will not be performed without contacting you first and providing your free estimate.

(See para 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 above)

7.3 In the event a basic diagnostic does not find the issue an advanced diagnostics may be required.

8.1 The customer is responsible for the backup of data on their computer.

8.2 At request of the customer, CompTech Repair, LLC will back up/restore data for an additional fee.

8.3 In the event of damaged storage mediums “HDD’s, SDD’s ect” CompTech Repair, LLC cannot guarantee all or any data be backed-up or restored.

8.3.1 At request of the customer CompTech Repair, LLC can attempt a data recovery service for an additional fee. Depending on how badly damaged the storage medium is not all, if any data is guaranteed to be recovered.

8.3.2 You understand that in the event you request CompTech Repair, LLC to perform a data recovery service, data may not be recoverable or data may be returned to you corrupted.

8.4 The data backup process is an automated process which involves coping the C://User folder. This copy of customers backed up data is stored on one of CompTech Repair, LLC storage mediums. Backed up files can be stored on these storage mediums for up to three (3) months after the invoice date at which point they will be deleted.

8.5 Windows and program files folders will not be backed up without a specific written request from the customer.

8.6 CompTech Repair, LLC will not be held responsible for files that are not backed up and lost.

8.7 CompTech Repair, LLC is in no way responsible for the content of the customer’s files.

8.8 CompTech Repair, LLC is in no way responsible for data that is recovered corrupted or lost completely due to damaged hardware.

I authorize CompTech Repair, LLC technician(s) to perform service work on my computer. I understand that CompTech Repair, LLC technicians are trained to perform computer software and hardware service work and know that CompTech Repair, LLC and its technicians are not an authorized service provider. I furthermore understand that CompTech Repair, LLC is a service center for both Apple and Windows computers. I agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless CompTech Repair, LLC from liability for any claims for damages of any kind that may arise from services performed on my computer, even if caused by negligence of CompTech Repair, LLC and/or its agents. I understand that CompTech Repair, LLC is not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of service work performed on my computer.
