Below I have listed two different models for EVGA’s GTX 1080. On the left, we have “08G-P4-6286” which, of course, is the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0. On the right, we have “08G-P4-6180” which, is the EVGA GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION.
The GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION is pretty much just a renamed reference card designed entirely by NVIDIA.

NVIDIA has created “The most advanced gaming GPU ever” and EVGA has pushed that even further with the GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0. And it definitely packs a punch, using NVIDIA’s latest pascal architecture producing a whopping 1,721 MHz core clock speed and 1,820 MHz boosted clock.
That’s pretty damn fast for a GPU right out the box, imagine what it can do when overclocked. Of course, how far you can overclock always depends on how lucky you get when you buy the card. Although with FTW models your chances of getting that overclocking monster, is increased greatly. in some cases, I’ve seen this card get pushed passed 2200mhz!
